I have been busy.

I have been busy, I have neglected myself.

I have worked and overworked and felt one too many times defeated.

defeated not because im failing but instead because im tired.

Im tired of doing it all, im tired of pushing myself, im tired of feeling alone.

I have been busy.

society expects me to go from point A to point B and not take a breather.

society expects me to be Wonderwoman without wondering on my own.

Imagination? Creativity? There is no time.

I am tired of excelling, growing, succeeding and losing myself.

I have been busy.

is there time for healing, prayer, mental health, physical needs?

The equilibrium has lost its own balance.

It is give, give, give…will I be judged if I take?

Even if failure finds me who cares, I am depleted with no rest in sight.

I have been busy.

remind yourself, you need a minute.

remind yourself, time needs to stop for no one else but YOU.

It is okay to be selfish if in return it helps everyone else around you including your own self.

never let the phrase “i have been busy” over work you to a point where your body, mind and spirit crashes and burns.

find the time, find the love, find the peace, find yourself.

be busy … finding healing, love, finding the real you. Not what society demands from you. Society will drink the marrow directly from your bones without finding fault and making you feel like gave up. DO NOT GIVE UP. Stop, pause, take a breath and then when you find yourself strong again…. Only then, continue on.
